Hello! I’m Sarah Kettles. I’m an American expat living with my Scottish husband, Scottish/Irish/American baby, and a goober of a puppy named Pippin in County Kildare, Ireland, and I’m something of a Jack-of-all-trades.
I’ve been writing since I learned to read and making up stories since I learned to speak. I spent middle school making up stories with my best friends, high school making up my own, and college making them up for class.
I’m also an illustrator. Before I learned to read and write, I drew. And painted. And made terrifying mixed-medium masterpieces still cherished by certain family members with questionable taste in art. You can check out some of my work in my portfolio.
I graduated from Boston College with a BA in History in 2011 (after having changed schools twice and majors four times) and from University College Dublin with an MA in Creative Writing in 2012.
